The tool matches material, outside diameter, wall thickness and centerline radius with compatible tooling. Define rotations, bend angles and straight lengths with 0.01 mm / 0.01° input precision.

True bend geometry

Each step is solved with its centerline radius. Start, theoretical bend intersections, end point and true arc tangencies update immediately.

Manufacturability checks

Clamp allowance, first grip length, maximum angle, standard tube length and self-intersection rules are checked while you design.

Technical outputs

Generate a hollow STL for eligible designs, analytic STEP for a straight tube without holes or bends, and PDF plus XYZ/CSV outputs for valid designs. The first end-forming phase supports only the verified UF-02 expanded socket.

How does it work?

Quick answers about the Tube Designer

Which designs can be exported as STEP?

STEP is currently available only for a straight tube without holes or bends. For end forming, only the UF-02 expanded socket with constant nominal wall is supported; other end forms are out of scope.

Which designs can be exported as STL?

A hollow STL is available for straight or bent designs that pass the manufacturability checks. The first end-forming phase supports only the hole-free, straight UF-02 expanded socket with constant nominal wall.

How do I send a price or quote request?

Set the quantity for a valid design, calculate the price, add the design to the cart or transfer its data to the quote form.

Can downloaded files go directly into production?

The tool is in beta. Confirm calculations, manufacturability results and technical outputs with Beformet before ordering or production.
